Lipscombe Appliance Branding & Website
The Challenge
In today’s economy, it’s hard for small retailers to compete with the big guys. While locally owned Lipscombe Appliance couldn’t open more stores and hire more staff, the retailer could have a much larger presence. Lipscombe turned to MPD to give the company a new brand and website that could go head to head with the competition.
The Solution
Lipscombe’s current logo was very dated. Moving them out of the 60s, MPD gave the appliance retailer a bold new type treatment that, from a brand perspective, puts them on par with their competition. Leveraging this new branding, the new website showcases all of Lipscombe’s appliances along with their current in-store specials, plus includes do-it-yourself tips for appliance maintenance. Although part of Lipscombe’s business is appliance repair, the company knew that giving away some tips for free would instill a sense of trust with customers. A Content Management System allows the Lipscombe staff to update these tips as well as the content throughout the site.
